Testing Engineer (Furniture)

YOUR JOBS:

Testing Protocol Development

• Collaborate closely with the R&D team to understand the design specifications and requirements for new furniture products
• Develop comprehensive testing protocols and procedures, covering aspects such as safety, durability, and performance

In-House Inspections

• Establish and conduct in-house inspections to ensure that furniture products meet internal quality standards before being sent to third-party testing labs
• Identify and address any potential compliance issues during the in-house inspection process

Coordination with Testing Labs

• Liaise with third-party testing labs to coordinate testing schedules and requirements
• Ensure that testing labs receive accurate and complete product samples along with the necessary documentation

Internal Testing Lab

• Build up and improve the testing lab
• Cultivate and update the latest knowledge about testing standards in the furniture field

Testing Execution

• Supervise and manage in-house testing procedures to assess product safety and performance

Label System

• Build up the label standard with the latest updated standard in the world for each product and each brands

Work closely with the Manager and support in all cases is requested directly from the Manager

Job Requirement

• Bachelor's or advanced degree in Industrial Design, Furniture Engineering, or a related field
• Above 3 - 5 years of relevant work experience / 1 year of manager levels
• Strong knowledge of technology and trends in the furniture field.
• Understanding of product testing processes and protocols.
