RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Deploy and manage software tools for CNC nesting, fabric pattern layout, and material template optimization (e.g., SigmaNEST, NestFab).
• Monitor usage rates and scrap metrics—work with stakeholders to refine optimization logic over time.
• Facilitate Continuous Improvement tools like Value Stream Mapping (VSM), Kaizen, 5S, SMED, and DMAIC for targeted efficiency gains.
• Standardize nesting and template setups with SOPs and standard works for consistency and repeatability.
• Work cross-functionally to implement improvement recommendations and validate results.
• Use BI tools, Excel, and/or dashboards to collect and analyze nesting efficiency, material usage, and waste data. Measure improvement impact, present ROI and key findings to leadership.
• Mentor production and process teams in adopting CI tools and software.
• Drive a culture of continuous improvement via Kaizen events and tier meetings.
• Plan and manage improvement projects—define scope, document milestones, and ensure follow-through.
• Monitor implementation from pilot to full deployment, ensuring desired outcomes.

Job Requirement

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Industrial/Mechanical Engineering, Process Engineering, or similar.
• 3–5 years in a CI or process optimization role within manufacturing— experience with CNC nesting or fabric layout strongly preferred.
• Proficiency in nesting optimization software (SigmaNEST, NestFab, or similar) and strong data tools (Excel, Power BI).
• Skilled in Lean Six Sigma, Kaizen, VSM, 5S, SMED, DMAIC, and RCA tools.
• Strong facilitation, project management, and presentation skills.
• Lean Six Sigma Green Belt (or higher) preferred.
