Job Description

Electrical Engineering student or graduate to work for 3 months in Australia in a solar and battery installation business. Renewable energy is an evolving and growing field with great future oportunities. Come join our team to building a more sustainable world.

You will be learning to design, assemble and wire solar and battery installations under the supervision of an electrical engineer. All work must meet strict Australian design and safety stanards. Job sites will be various businesses and domestic buildings in the Sydney area.

Job Tasks Include:

1. Wiring to a drawing

2. Power, Resistance, Capacity, Voltage and Current Calculations

3. Physical measurements and marking locations

4. Modification of drawings

5. Buliding and Mounting Electrical components

6. Installing Solar Power Systems

7. Set up and test ethernet networks

8. Installing Battery Energy Storage Systems

9. Execute installation and commisioning check lists

10. Document as is installations including drawings and photos

11. Onsite design change decisions

12. Comunicate with the engineer

The location is Mittagong near Sydney.

All work related expenses will be paid for including airfares, visas, accomodation, food and car.

Job Requirement

Must be planning to start or already have started an engineering degree with a focus on electrical.

Must be hands on, self starter and motivated to be productive.

Must have reasonable English skills.
