Senior Accounting Officer - Chuyên viên Kế Toán

Job Description

Job Purpose: Support the General Accountant in recording accounting transactions and reconciling accounting data.

The main tasks and responsibilities include but not limit to:

1. Booking: Prepare and import accounting entries related to bank and cash transactions into the accounting system. Ensure all entries are recorded in Sun Systems on time and in compliance with company policies and tax regulations.

2. Month-end entries: Accrued expenses, prepaid expenses, salary, investment, override, reinsurance, reserve and foreign exchange revaluations… must be recorded in Sun Systems on time and in compliance with company policies and tax regulations

3. Assets and tools management: review monthly depreciation, asset reports, ensure all assets must be recorded into Sun on time and in-line with company policy, tax regulation.

4. Reconciliation balance sheet accounts: Ensure that all related balance sheet account balances are accurate and fully supported by appropriate documentation.

5. Filling documents: All cash and bank ledgers must be properly filed, well-organized, clearly labeled, and easy to retrieve.

6. Other related duties as assigned by line manager.

Job Requirement

1.     Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in Finance or Accounting

2.     Experience: At least 3 years of relevant experience in accounting

3.     Skills and Competencies

-       Knowledge of local and international accounting standards, taxes, legal & audit issues

-       Good communication skills both in Vietnamese and in English 

-       Microsoft Office skills are required

-       Careful, sense of responsibility
