1. Revenue, COGS, Margin, Profit, Rebate, Stock Correction.
- Manage revenue for the product category in accordance with the company's overall development strategy.
- Manage COGS, margin, and profit effectively, and establish pricing frameworks to maximize business profitability while seeking promotional programs that deliver good value to customers.
- Negotiate the best possible terms with suppliers by establishing and building strong, mutually beneficial partnerships.
- Build value in creating partnerships with suppliers.
- Control Stock Correction costs for the product category.
- Maximize the generation of other income (Rebate) from suppliers.
- Manage key projects/product categories to enhance revenue. Manage overall and detailed merchandise revenue across three dimensions: product category, branch, and e-commerce channels.
2. Supplier Sourcing, Evaluation, and Negotiation
- Evaluate suppliers according to company standards (capacity, products, delivery time, after-sales service, payment methods, development potential, etc.) to ensure the most suitable supplier is selected at all times.
- Submit preliminary evaluation dossiers to the Direct Manager for review and approval.
3. Market Research
- Conduct weekly market price surveys for goods with frequently fluctuating prices, focusing on product groups specified by the department head.
4. Order Status/ Goods Quality Monitoring
- Summarize imported fruit inventory before 9:00 AM
- Support balancing, internal transfer of goods, and procurement for company's affiliated units
- Create Purchase Orders (POs) and monitor order status based on inventory and sales velocity
- Work directly with Suppliers on arising issues:
• Quality, price, and quantity differ from the PO.
• Delivery status, urge Suppliers if they have not delivered according to the committed date on the PO.
• Decide on returned goods and damaged goods for offsetting with Suppliers – Backup plan.
- Report adjustments promptly when there are changes in: Price, product specifications
- Periodically evaluate suppliers weekly, report on sales and destroyed goods to improve purchasing activities
- Coordinate with stores. Responsible for the quality of goods imported into the store from Suppliers according to company standards.
- Report and process information as requested by the Board of Directors (BOD) when needing to resolve departmental issues related to goods
5. Support balancing, internal transfer of goods, and procurement for company's affiliated units
- Manage inventory and company's turnover rate, system.
- Coordinate with relevant departments during the receiving, inventory checking, and transferring of goods; coordinate to resolve/report/seek opinions on incidents arising during implementation
- Ensure balanced flow of goods at the store at all times, avoiding under-purchasing, over-purchasing, or purchasing unapproved goods
6. System Updates
- Change/Create code. Check. Update. Update the system. Notify.
- Process promotional programs (approve content, confirm suppliers, submit to BOD, notify...).
- Handle issues related to pricing on the system (coordinate with IT and accounting)...
7. Other Tasks
- Request promotional programs from Suppliers, update the Department Head
- Provide product information to the Marketing Department within the permitted scope
- Communicate information about new products to relevant departments
- Exchange/return near-expiry or overstocked goods according to contract regulations
- Update new product demands from customers
- Other tasks as assigned by direct supervisor.
- Coordinate to provide sufficient SUPPLEMENTARY LABELS for all products in the imported goods category upon request from stores
- Monitor the process and quantity of DAMAGED GOODS daily. Report to management, deduct from Suppliers for product groups with product warranty.
1. Knowledge:
- College degree or higher in Economics, Marketing, or related fields.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar position.
-Understanding of the imported fruit market, or dry/fresh food categories/private label within a supermarket system.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Excel and related software.
