Job Purpose
The Senior Officer, Collection is responsible for managing and executing the end-to-end premium collection process, ensuring accurate and timely allocation of all premium types to corresponding policy transactions. The role includes performing reconciliations with Finance, overseeing write-off processes, and supporting system enhancements related to billing and collection to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with internal controls and regulatory requirements.
Key Accountabilities (1)
- Perform manual collection to policy accounts for all premium type such as initial premium, renewal premium, top up premium and others premium to allocate to all transactions of policy issuance, premium due, reinstatement, policy financial changes…
- Daily and monthly reconciliation with FIN on total transaction/amount of premium received with total transaction/amount of collection to policy account (included auto collection and manual collection) and total transaction/amount of allocation to effectiveness transactions.
- In charge the write off process for both LPS and undetermined premium.
- Give user requirement and involve for system enhancement in Billing and Collection fields.
Success Profile - Qualification and Experiences
- University degree, preferably in finance/ banking/ insurance
- LOMA ALMI/FLMI/English is an advantage
- For senior staff: At least 5 years of experience in Premium Collection or Policy administration in the Life Insurance industry
- For Junior staff: At least 2 years of experience in Premium Collection or Policy administration in the Life Insurance industry
