We are looking for a proactive and detail-oriented Transportation Coordinator to join our Operations/Logistics team. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily fleet operations, coordinating vehicle and driver assignments, and ensuring transportation runs efficiently and cost-effectively. The ideal candidate will play a key role in managing fleet maintenance, fuel consumption, GPS systems, and transportation-related expenses, while also supporting driver performance and safety compliance. This position requires strong organizational skills, the ability to work under pressure, and a solid understanding of transportation operations and cost control.
Transportation Dispatching
Plan and schedule vehicle dispatches according to delivery timelines.
Assign drivers and vehicles to optimize route efficiency.
Monitor transit status and respond to issues such as delays, accidents, or route changes.
Coordinate with warehouse and customer service teams to ensure timely deliveries.
Fleet Management
Maintain up-to-date vehicle records (registration, inspection, insurance, maintenance schedules, etc.).
Monitor vehicle conditions and schedule routine maintenance and repairs.
Manage vehicle operating expenses (repairs, parts replacement, insurance fees, etc.).
Driver Management
Schedule and supervise drivers' assignments and monitor work performance.
Track attendance and calculate monthly salary components such as allowances, overtime (OT), and incentives.
Provide training on safety procedures and internal regulations; conduct regular performance evaluations.
Fuel & Operational Equipment Monitoring
Monitor and control monthly fuel consumption and related expenses.
Manage fuel accounts, VETC, toll fee and GPS tracking systems for vehicle monitoring.
Reconcile fuel usage and generate reports on fuel efficiency and vehicle performance.
Expense Management & Payment Processing
Consolidate, verify, and process transportation-related expenses: tolls, fuel, parking, maintenance, repairs, etc.
Work with internal accounting and external vendors to ensure timely and accurate payment settlements.
Other tasks as assigned by the supervisor/manager.
Job Requirement
Bachelor’s degree in logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
Minimum 2 year of working experience in transportation coordination, fleet management, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Understanding of transportation, warehousing, import and export processes and related regulations.
Proficiency in (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Canva)
Communication, negotiation and working skills with suppliers and transportation partners.
Ability to analyze data, solve problems and think logically.
Proficiency in Chinese (4 skills).
Meticulous, patient, with good organizing skills
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
A good team player, with customer-service mindset
Attention to detail and a proactive approach to problem-solving.
High adaptability to changes and be able to work under pressure
