Summary/Objective: The Project Coordinator works closely with a team of engineering resources to develop advanced products while improving communication & connectivity within a global organization. The project Coordinator is responsible for creating project plans and monitoring active projects. They work closely with project resources and managers to ensure schedules are current and escalate scheduling conflicts to management. The Project Coordinator also generates project status updates and program-level reporting. They work under the direction of the program manager to ensure departmental processes are followed. The project coordinator also supports the development center by developing strategic Tech Partners and suppliers and finding key talents.
Essential Functions/Responsibilities:
1. Support non-English speaking engineering team in communication, including participating in online meetings with a range of time zones for interpretation and translation.
2. Gather the project requirements and create schedule plans and timelines that are appropriate for the complexity, priority, and deliverables of the project scope.
3. Monitor & maintain schedules of multiple projects within the project tracking system.
4. Follow up on a wide range of project resources to keep up to date on task status.
5. Make edits to the schedule plans due to scope, execution, and priority changes.
6. Create reports and status updates on project information and present to upper management.
7. Maintain contact and foster relationships with project resources, managers, and customers.
8. Escalate project risks and issues that could impact projects and carry out response plans determined by management.
9. Attend project & staff update meetings to gather information.
10. Feedback to program managers on process improvements that drive down time to market and improve efficiency
11. Support Engineering development in all aspects. The tasks will include supporting Tech partners and vendor development, finding and hiring key talents, and other office administrative duties that come online
12. Responsibility may include other administrative work such as material procurement & purchasing
