Job Purpose
The Field Trainer is responsible for enhancing the competencies of insurance sales personnel by designing and conducting effective training programs. This role ensures that all sales staff are well-equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills to meet sales targets and comply with regulatory standards.
Key Accountabilities
1. Training Program Development and Delivery
- Design and implement comprehensive training programs for new and existing insurance sales staff.
- Develop training materials on product knowledge, sales techniques, and compliance.
- Use workshops, seminars, and e-learning formats.
2. Performance Monitoring and Evaluation
- Assess training effectiveness via feedback and sales KPIs.
- Provide coaching and monitor trainee progress.
- Align with sales managers to identify training needs.
3. Regulatory Compliance and Certification
- Ensure training aligns with regulations and internal policies.
- Support staff in achieving and renewing certifications.
- Integrate regulatory updates into training content.
4. Stakeholder Collaboration
- Work with product and marketing teams to sync training with new campaigns.
- Liaise with external trainers as needed.
Qualifications and Experience
- Education: Bachelor's in Business, Finance, or Insurance.
- Experience: At least 3 years in insurance training or sales.
- Certifications: MOF/IC certification preferred.
- Skills: Strong presentation, instructional design, coaching, digital tools.
