133442 - [HN] Japanese Speaking - Quality and Engineering Assistant Manager - Trading

RGF's Client - a Japanese company operating in the logistics materials and metal recycling industry - is looking for a Quality and Engineering Assistant Manager who can speak Japanese to expand operations in Vietnam, capable of overseeing key functions—such as technical proposals to clients, product development support, supplier sourcing, and production/quality management—under the direct supervision of a Vietnamese Director.

• Working Location: Thanh Xuan Ward, Hanoi City
• Monthly Salary: 25,000,000 ～ 35,000,000VND (Depends on experience, negotiable)
• Job Responsibilities:
  • Addressing product technical and quality requirements based on customer needs and business plans
  • Supplier sourcing, partnership building, negotiation, and production line setup and stabilization
  • Managing supplier production and overseeing customer delivery schedules
  • Build and operate a quality assurance system (establish inspection standards, technical documents, manage 4M changes in production, etc.)
  • Prevent quality defects, analyze causes and propose improvement measures
  • Evaluate suppliers, provide technical guidance and strengthen links with factories
  • Implement improvement proposals and present to internal departments as well as customers
  • Standardize quality & technical systems, train team members

Necessary Skill / Experience:

• Education Background: Bachelor's Degree
• Language Skill: Japanese and English - Business Level 
• Experience: At least 7 years of practical experience in quality assurance/management of suppliers in a Japanese manufacturing or trading company 
• Experience in technical coordination, supplier assessment, and inspection
• Experience in process improvement at manufacturing plants
• Experience as a team leader or assistant manager (or higher)
• Not a job hopper

Preferable Skill/ Experience:

• Experience with logistics materials (particularly plastic bags), steel, and related products.
