RGF's Client - a Japanese company in the Consumer Goods industry - is looking for a Legal Manager to provide legal and compliance advice, manage contracts and disputes, ensure regulatory compliance, coordinate with external legal counsel, and lead the Legal Team.

Job Responsibilities
- Advise the BOD/BOM, Legal & Risk Management Manager, and departments on legal and compliance matters arising from daily operations and key projects
- Analyze facts, evidence, laws, internal rules, and business impact to provide clear conclusions, options, and recommendations
- Proactively provide a handling approach for ordinary or medium-risk matters within delegated scope; escalate material matters with a proposed option
- Draft, review and negotiate contracts in Vietnamese and English, including distribution, sales, service, logistics, warehousing, lease, marketing, NDA and related amendments
- Manage mandatory review scope, thresholds, responsibilities of Business/Legal/BOM, timing of Legal involvement and approval flow
- Standardize contract templates, checklists, guidelines and training materials so departments can check basic issues before submitting matters to Legal
- Support the development, update and implementation of internal rules/procedures on contracts, seals, information, personal data protection and approval authority
- Monitor key legal changes and convert them into simple, practical guidance for departments
- Advise on intellectual property, personal data protection, information confidentiality, anti-bribery/corruption and internal compliance requirements
- Manage contract disputes, claims, receivables, claim-back matters, labor issues and other sensitive matters
- Work with government authorities in inspections, administrative proceedings, licensing and related legal matters
- Manage coordination with external law firms, including scope of work, documents, advice quality, cost and timeline
- Allocate, guide, review and train the Legal Team to improve output quality and independent issue-handling capability
- Report periodically or as needed on contract review status, disputes, receivables, compliance and key legal matters
