133992 - Mechanical Engineer - CAD/ CAE Solutions

RGF's Client - a Japanese company in the engineering and industrial plant industry - is looking for a Mechanical Engineer - CAD/CAE Solutions to handle mechanical design for industrial plant equipment, including basic and detailed design, strength calculations, technical documentation, and coordination with related departments to ensure design accuracy and resolve equipment interference issues.

• Working Location: Tan Dinh Ward, Ho Chi Minh City
• Monthly Salary: Depending on experience

Job Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical engineering design for equipment used in Energy-from-Waste (EfW) plants and industrial plants, including tanks, pressure vessels, ducts, hoppers, conveyors, and maintenance platforms.

• Carry out basic equipment design, including equipment layout planning, duct routing, strength calculations, technical data sheets, purchase specifications, and bill of quantities (BQ) lists.

• Carry out detailed equipment design and prepare fabrication drawings using 2D and 3D CAD software.

• Review vendor documents, including drawings, specifications, procedures, and other related technical documents.

• Check for equipment interference using 3D models and coordinate with related departments to resolve identified issues.

• Review 2D drawings of steel structures and maintenance platforms, check for equipment interference, and coordinate with related departments to resolve any issues.

• Bachelor's degree.

• English proficiency at business level.

• At least 5 years of experience in detailed equipment design and industrial plant engineering design.

• Basic knowledge of strength of materials, fluid mechanics, mechanical dynamics, and thermodynamics.

• Proficiency in 2D CAD software (AutoCAD), including the ability to read engineering drawings and understand drafting symbols, such as welding symbols.

• Proficiency in 3D CAD software (Inventor).
