Job Description

Key Purpose of the Job:

As an Academic Specialist at Wall Street English Vietnam, you will contribute to ensure consistent academic quality and adherence to Wall Street English standards through classroom observations, quality audits, academic reporting, and operational support, while providing objective insights to support coaching and performance management decisions.

Key Areas of Responsibility:

1. Quality Assurance & Academic Excellence (50%)

  • Serve as a brand ambassador of the Wall Street English learning method and uphold academic standards across assigned centers.
  • Conduct scheduled classroom observations and academic audits to evaluate adherence to Wall Street English teaching standards and learning methodology.
  • Complete audit reports and evaluation forms following observation sessions, providing objective findings and recommendations.
  • Monitor consistency of teaching quality across centers and identify opportunities for improvement.
  • Provide observation findings, quality insights, and development recommendations to Academic Trainers to support coaching and capability development initiatives.
  • Support Academic Managers by providing quality data and audit findings that contribute to performance review and talent development discussions.
  • Promote a culture of continuous improvement through quality monitoring, observation, and constructive feedback.

2. Teaching Engagement & Service Continuity (43%)

  • Maintain direct teaching responsibilities (at least. 09 hours per week) to stay connected to students and pedagogy.
  • Step in to provide timely class coverage as needed, ensuring continuity of service and minimal disruption to student learning.
  • Model teaching excellence and learner engagement in every classroom interaction, reinforcing best practices and setting the standard for peers.

3. Academic Standards & Operational Support (7%)

  • Act as a secondary support for Level Checks across centers, ensuring consistent application of academic standards.
  • Support the Corporate Team on oral placement reviews and workshops when needed.
  • Assist the Academic Delivery function with strategic projects aimed at improving teaching quality, learner satisfaction, and process efficiency.
  • Support academic operations through administrative coordination related to:
    • Class scheduling
    • Staff attendance tracking
    • Resource planning
    • Academic reporting
    • Dashboard updates

Job Requirement

Minimum Relevant Experience:

  • Minimum 2 years of teaching experience and relevant working experiences

Minimum Academic Requirement:

  • CELTA, TEFL, or TESOL
  • Bachelor’s Degree
