Bangladesh Nationality – Based in Vietnam

Nationality preferred: Bangladeshi

Key responsibilities:

Manage technical activities for Jeans and denim garment production.
Review samples, patterns, technical specifications and garment construction.
Develop and standardize sewing methods for bulk production.
Attend pre-production meetings and identify potential technical risks.
Troubleshoot sewing, fitting, measurement and workmanship problems.
Coordinate with Pattern, Sample, IE, Production, QA/QC and Washing departments.
Provide technical solutions for shrinkage, twisting, puckering, seam appearance and measurement issues after washing.
Train Vietnamese technicians, supervisors, line leaders and sewing workers.
Improve line efficiency, product quality and right-first-time performance.
Ensure products comply with buyer specifications and quality standards.

Candidate requirements:

Minimum 8–15 years of experience in the garment industry.
At least 5 years of hands-on technical experience in Jeans/denim garments.
Strong knowledge of denim bottoms, especially five-pocket Jeans.
Good knowledge of sewing machines, attachments, folders, needles, threads and sewing methods.
Ability to analyze Tech Packs, patterns, samples and garment construction.
Experience in mass-production troubleshooting and technical training.
Previous experience working with international buyers is preferred.
Good command of English.
Willing to relocate and work long-term in Vietnam.
Must be able to provide documents required for a Vietnamese work permit.
