GSD Analyst

BROAD FUNCTION | TRÁCH NHIỆM CHUNG

The position shall be in-charge in establishing sewing labor standard time to all styles, analyze sewing construction and develop optimum sewing methods with detailed motion analysis using GSD methodology to reduce non value adding motions with the most efficient and accurate labor standard minute value.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES | TRÁCH NHIỆM CHI TIẾT CÔNG VIỆC

1.         Study garment construction based on Construction work sheet, paper pattern and other style reference and establish sewing time standards.

2.         Study and develop efficient sewing method to reduce nonvalue adding motions and the standard minute value (SMV) of the style.

3.      Provide operational breakdown with detailed method analysis using GSD methodology.

4.      Review garment sample and generate accurate labor standard minute value (SMV) in every development stages for product costing and production planning.

5.      Provide timely style flow chart, operations breakdown and communicate standard method to production. 

6.      Validates accuracy of the standard methods, minute values, identify gaps and develop a workable sewing method.

7.      Coordinate with product develop and production team on any amendments of the standard methods.

8.      Can be temporarily assigned to other areas as mandated by the immediate superior when need arises.

JOB SPECIFICATIONS / MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS [Indicate needed work experience - area of expertise and duration]

Professional experience:

At least 2 years of relevant experience as an IE at garment facility.

Education requirement:

College | University

Field of specialization:

Must be a Graduate of Industrial Engineering or any related course.

Must be a license GSD practitioner.

Core Competency

Technical skills:

Must be high in analytical skills and problem solving.

Can work with less Supervision.

Language Skills:

Can communicate in English.

IT proficiency:

Computer literate
