Mechanical Engineer (ANSYS/FEA)

1.    Mechanical design

·         Develop 3D models of components and complete machine.

·         Release production drawings, BOM and machine documentation.

2.    Finite Element Modeling (FEM)

·         Perform Finite Element Analysis (FEA) for Jacon Equipment (JE) on component level and machine level

·         Ensure the durability and stability of JE machine to meet the design standards (Australian Standard and/or ISO)

·         Provide technical advice to design engineer based on the FEA result

·         Prepare JE machine related certificate and obtain approval

·         Manage the project on-time and on-spec

3.    Analytical Calculation (AC)

·         Carry out structural calculation for JE machine

·         Write calculation report and obtain approval from internal/external reviewer

4.    Others

·         Cross-department collaboration & engineering support

·         Support the JE design registration process

·         Prepare engineering document such as work instruction, technical report, etc.

Provide assistance, advice and instruction to junior engineers on technical issue

Education: Graduated from Technical University, Major: Mechanical, Mechatronics, Automotive Engineering or similar

Job Related Experience:  2-5-year practical experience in structural analysis

Industrial knowledge: Heavy equipments

Others (e.g., language skills, technical skills):  Good in oral and written English

ANSYS, Inventor, AutoCAD, Microsoft Office (PowerPoint, Excel & Word)

Good problem-solving and communication skills

Able to work in a team environment
