Piping Design Engineer - Nhân viên thiết kế ống

Our company is a 100% French-owned shipbuilding company located in Nha Be District, HCMC. We are recruiting a Piping Design Engineer

*JOB TASKS

- Interpret basic design schematics to generate industrial design drawings

- Generate 3D piping plant model from basic design

- Generate equipment 3D model elements

- Generate production drawings (i.e. arrangement, coordination, fabrication, isometrics)

- Calculate to define materials

- Generate request for materials

- Ensure the design is consistent with the terms of the contract

- Prepare the purchasing specification of equipment

- Prepare the request for quotation and purchase

- Make sure the technical documentation available is up to date

- Follow-up the regulation evolution

- Remain aware of the latest technological innovation and working methods

- Provide production support for issued drawings

* RESPONSIBILITY & AUTHORITY

- Responsible for the accuracy of the drawings issued

- Responsible for maintaining productivity by accomplishing tasks within the allotted hours

- Reports regularly and accurately to the officer

- Experience with 3D ship design software, including AutoCAD and performing design models for system design principles and practices

- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Naval Architecture, Shipbuilding Technology, or related fields

- English: communication, reading, and writing at an intermediate level

- Computer skills: Office ( Intermediate); AutoCAD (Advanced)

- Good communication skills

- Experience in the naval environment would be a plus
