Planning specialist

Responsible for material requirement planning (MRP), raw material ordering, and inventory control to ensure material availability for production while optimizing inventory levels, minimizing aging stock, and meeting business targets. 

KEY RESPONBIBILITY 

• Material Planning: Develop and manage MRP based on customer POs, sales forecasts, and production plans to ensure sufficient raw material supply. 

• Raw Material Ordering: Plan and manage RM orders, coordinate with suppliers to ensure on-time delivery, and proactively address potential supply shortages or delays. 

• Inventory Control: Monitor and optimize inventory levels, control month-end stock in line with company targets, and balance material availability with inventory costs. 

• Aging Stock Management: Review aging, slow-moving, and excess stock; coordinate with relevant teams to develop action plans to minimize inventory risks. 

• Cross-functional Coordination: Work closely with Sales, Planning, Logistics, Production, and suppliers to align material supply with demand and resolve operational issues. 

• Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities to improve MRP accuracy, inventory efficiency, and planning processes. 

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Business Administration, or related fields. 

• 2–3 years of experience in MRP, preferably in a manufacturing environment. 

• Good English communication skills, both written and spoken. 

• Strong communication, coordination, analytical, and problem-solving skills. 

• Proactive, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities. 

• Proficient in Excel; SAP or ERP experience is an advantage.
