JOB SUMMARY

Responsible for developing, governing, and optimizing pricing strategies across the hospital system to ensure competitiveness, profitability, and regulatory compliance. Leads pricing governance, drives margin improvement initiatives, standardizes pricing frameworks across entities, and provides data-driven insights to support executive decision-making.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Pricing Strategy & Governance: 

• Develop and implement group-wide pricing strategy for healthcare services and products. 
• Establish pricing governance framework, approval matrix, and discount policies. 
• Standardize pricing structure across hospitals while allowing flexibility by market segment. 
• Lead annual pricing review and adjustment cycles. 
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and healthcare pricing guidelines.

2. Profitability & Margin Optimization:

• Analyze service line profitability and recommend pricing adjustments.
• Conduct cost-to-serve and margin analysis.
• Identify underpriced / low-margin services and propose corrective actions.
• Partner with Finance to align pricing with cost structure changes

3. Market & Competitive Intelligence:

• Monitor competitor pricing, payer rates, and market positioning. 
• Benchmark pricing by region and segment. 
• Provide insights to leadership on pricing opportunities and risks.

4. Business Partnership & Commercial Support

• Support Sales and Marketing in pricing proposals and campaigns. 
• Review special pricing requests and corporate contracts. 
• Provide financial modeling for new services and promotional programs. 

5. Data Management & Reporting 

• Oversee pricing database accuracy and integrity. 
• Develop pricing dashboards and performance tracking reports. 
• Present pricing insights to Executive Committee. 

6. Team Leadership & Capability Building

• Lead and develop pricing team members. 
• Build pricing analytics capability across hospitals. 
• Provide training on pricing principles to commercial teams.

1. Experience & Knowledge: 

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business, or related field 
• 7–10 years of experience in pricing, commercial finance, or revenue management 
• Experience in healthcare, hospital system, or multi-entity environment preferred 
• Experience leading cross-functional projects
