Procurement Executive (Chinese Speaking)

• Source and develop new suppliers, primarily in China, to meet the company's purchasing requirements.
• Communicate and negotiate with suppliers regarding pricing, commercial terms, lead time, and delivery schedules.
• Prepare and issue Purchase Orders (POs), monitor order status, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Coordinate with internal departments (Planning, Engineering, Warehouse, Production, etc.) to ensure smooth procurement operations.
• Evaluate supplier performance and maintain long-term relationships with key suppliers.
• Resolve purchasing, quality, and delivery issues with suppliers.
• Conduct market research to identify cost-saving opportunities and alternative suppliers.
• Perform other tasks assigned by the Purchasing Manager.

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Purchasing/Procurement.
• Good command of Chinese (able to communicate directly with suppliers in China).
• Experience in supplier sourcing and development, price negotiation, purchase order management, and delivery follow-up.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel with strong negotiation and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

1. Experience working directly with Chinese suppliers, preferably in a manufacturing environment.
2. Experience purchasing electrical materials, electrical components, or production-related equipment.
3. HSK certification or proven experience using Chinese in a professional setting.
