Role summary:
As the In Process/Supplier Quality Engineer at Dat Bike, you play a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless operation of manufacturing processes/supplier and maintaining product quality standards. You will be responsible for identifying and resolving manufacturing issues/Supplier issues, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and driving continuous improvement initiatives. Your expertise in quality management, problem-solving, and leadership will be instrumental in achieving operational excellence and upholding the company's reputation for delivering high-quality electric vehicles.
Responsibilities:
Identify defects and non-conformities during the In process/Supplier.
Document findings using appropriate tools and systems. Report issues to relevant supervisors and quality manager.
Ensure compliance with defined quality standards and specifications, collect and analyze quality data to identify trends and areas for improvement.
Use statistical tools to interpret data and suggest corrective actions, verify that all processes comply with internal and external quality standards.
Ensure adherence to safety and regulatory requirements, participate in audits and inspections conducted by internal and external parties.
Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance product quality and process efficiency.
Provide feedback and suggestions for process failure modes based on inspection finding, participate in root cause analysis and problem-solving activities.
Support the implementation of ISO 9001 standards to ensure compliance with regulations.
Bachelor’s degree in Engineering required Automotive/ Mechatronics/ Mechanical/ Electrical/ Electronics.
2-3 years in an automotive manufacturing background/any relevant field is required with experience in process improvement.
Excellent analytical abilities, technical writing ability and comprehensive understanding of quality tools.
Knowledge of quality management principles, methodologies, and tools(Control plan, FMEA, SPC, CAPA, PDCA, 8D Analysis, Kaizen...)
Team player with strong interpersonal skills, hands-on and data driven, be able to adapt to the dynamic working environment, creative mindset in problem solving.
Communication in English.
