Job Description

Position Summary:

The Site Architect, under the Developer’s Project Development team, is responsible for managing the full life cycle of architectural, interior and landscape works — from design concept through construction and handover. This position needs to represent Project Development for coordination with external architects, interior design and landscape consultants, contractors, while also monitoring on-site implementation to ensure that construction outcomes across these disciplines onsite upholds the project’s overall design vision, quality standards, sustainability goals, and cost efficiency.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Architectural Site Management

  • Supervise and monitor architectural works on site to ensure compliance with approved drawings, specifications, materials, mock-ups, and Developer standards.
  • Conduct regular site inspections to verify workmanship quality, architectural detailing, and finishing standards.
  • Review and monitor architectural finishes, façade works, mock-ups, and material installations to ensure consistency with approved design intent.
  • Identify defects, non-conformance works, and quality issues, and follow up corrective actions with contractors and consultants.
  • Review and monitor contractors’ shop drawings, material submissions, method statements, and architectural samples.

2. Design Consultant Coordination

  • Coordinate closely with FPV Design Management team and external Design Consultants to ensure architectural design intent is properly implemented on site.
  • Review and monitor design changes, RFIs, site instructions, revised drawings, and consultant responses during construction.
  • Coordinate design integration among Architecture, Structure, MEP, Interior Design, Landscape, and Infrastructure disciplines.
  • Support consultants and contractors in resolving technical discrepancies, constructability concerns, and site conflicts.
  • Participate in design coordination meetings and provide site feedback to improve constructability, quality, and project execution.
  • Follow up pending consultant comments, technical clarifications, and updated drawings to avoid delays to construction progress.
  • Coordinate approvals for materials, façade details, interior finishes, and mock-ups in accordance with Developer requirements.

3. Construction Coordination & Progress Monitoring

  • Work closely with Project Management and Construction teams to ensure architectural works progress according to approved schedule and project milestones.
  • Monitor contractor manpower, material availability, shop drawing status, and construction readiness related to architectural works.
  • Attend site meetings and provide updates on architectural progress, site constraints, quality concerns, and key risks.
  • Coordinate site activities among contractors, consultants, and related stakeholders to minimize construction conflicts and delays.
  • Support testing, inspection, snagging, and handover activities related to architectural works.

4. Quality Control & Compliance

  • Ensure all architectural works comply with approved specifications, QA/QC procedures, authority requirements, and Developer standards.
  • Verify that architectural materials, finishes, and workmanship meet approved quality benchmarks.
  • Maintain consistency with the Developer’s design identity, branding, and aesthetic standards.
  • Coordinate with consultants and contractors for authority inspections, approvals, and compliance requirements related to architectural works.
  • Review as-built drawings and handover documentation prior to project completion.

5. Documentation & Reporting

  • Maintain and track architectural site records, submissions, approvals, inspection reports, RFIs, and change records.
  • Prepare progress reports, inspection notes, issue trackers, and summary updates for management review.
  • Monitor and report architectural issues affecting project quality, progress, or coordination.
  • Ensure proper filing and control of architectural documents and latest approved drawings at site.

Job Requirement

  • Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor’s Degree in Architecture or equivalent.
  • At least 7 year (s) of working experience in related construction field especially high-rise building.
  • Good knowledge of relevant regulations in building construction field, including fire-fighting specification requirements.
  • Having experience working for a developer or contractor and Hands-on knowledge of ISO or any other quality procedures will be an added advantage.
  • High sense of responsibility, willing to work overtime and under high pressure.
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently and play as a team.
  • Proactive thinking, creative, hard working.
  • Excellent communication skills in Vietnamese and English.
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills.
