Job Description

  • Identify, evaluate, and qualify potential suppliers to ensure they meet the company’s quality, cost, and delivery requirements
  • Develop and implement sourcing strategies to optimize cost, quality, and supply continuity for goods and services
  • Manage the end-to-end procurement process, including preparing and issuing purchase orders, tracking deliveries, and ensuring timely receipt of goods and services
  • Negotiate pricing, terms, and contracts with suppliers to achieve the best value for the organization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers, monitor their performance, and address any issues related to quality, delivery, or compliance
  • Analyze total cost of ownership and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process improvement.
  • Evaluate supplier capability in terms of capacity, quality, technical compliance, and delivery performance.
  • Work closely with internal stakeholders such as NPI, production, planning, quality, and finance teams to understand requirements
  • Participate in supplier audits, support internal and external quality investigations when needed.
  • Maintain supplier database, records of quotations, and sourcing reports
  • Ensure all procurement and sourcing activities comply with company policies, ethical standards, and relevant regulations. Maintain accurate records and documentation.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, supply chain management, or related field
  • A certification or diploma in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing would be an advantage.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in procurement, purchasing, or sourcing, preferably in a managerial or supervisory role.
  • Fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • Fluent in other languages would be a plus.
  • Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, standards, and industry and market trends.Proven track record of developing and executing successful procurement strategies and achieving cost savings and efficiency goals.
  • Knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, tools, and software.
  • Knowledge of contract management and legal aspects of procurement.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and persuade others.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
