Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, inventory accuracy, material movement, and stockroom management. This role ensures efficient warehouse processes, compliance with company policies, and timely support for production and business operations while leading and developing the warehouse team.

Key Responsibilities

Warehouse Operations

• Supervise daily warehouse and stockroom activities, including receiving, storage, issuing, and inventory control.
• Ensure materials and inventory are properly identified, labeled, and stored for easy access and traceability.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and support inventory audits and cycle counts.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies, Goods Issue (GI) issues, and stock-related problems.
• Coordinate material availability to support production schedules and operational requirements.
• Drive continuous improvements in warehouse processes, efficiency, and inventory accuracy.

Team Leadership & People Management

• Lead, coach, and develop warehouse team members to achieve operational excellence.
• Recruit, onboard, and retain warehouse staff.
• Identify training and development needs and ensure team competency through effective training programs.
• Set performance goals, conduct performance evaluations, and provide ongoing feedback and coaching.
• Develop succession plans and build a high-performing warehouse team.
• Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Cost & Process Improvement

• Monitor warehouse costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and process optimization.
• Implement improvements to enhance productivity, inventory control, and service levels.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline workflows and eliminate non-value-added activities.

Cross-functional Collaboration

• Work closely with Production, Engineering, Planning, Purchasing, Quality, Program Management, and other departments to ensure smooth material flow and operations.
• Provide regular updates and communication regarding warehouse performance, inventory status, and operational challenges.

Compliance & Safety

• Ensure compliance with company policies, security requirements, and warehouse operating procedures.
• Maintain a safe working environment and ensure adherence to all health, safety, and environmental regulations.
• Support internal and external audits as required.

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in warehouse, inventory control, or logistics operations.
• At least 2 years of supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, inventory management, and ERP systems (SAP preferred).
• Good analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Ability to lead teams, manage priorities, and work effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
