Position Objective/Expectation
- Handle logistics operations, including import/export, inventory control, and delivery coordination, while supporting general administrative tasks
Job Responsibilities
- Handle import/export documentation such as invoices and packing lists
- Coordinate with customs brokers and freight forwarders when necessary
- Manage inventory and warehouse operations (stock in/out, stock control)
- Arrange deliveries and manage delivery schedules with customers
- Communicate and coordinate with suppliers (Japan HQ and overseas partners)
- Handle logistics-related issues such as delivery delays and customs problems
- Support general administrative tasks
- Provide support during customer visits if required
Necessary Skill / Experience
・Language: English - Business level & Japanese - Conversational level
・Experience:
- Around 2+ years of experience in logistics or import/export staff (industry not required)
- Basic knowledge or experience in logistics, import/export, or supply chain
- Good communication and coordination skills
- Able to handle multiple tasks and work flexibly
Preferable Skill / Experience
- Experience in general administration
- Experience working in a trading company or related field
- Japanese language skills (for internal communication and future support for Japanese expatriates) will be big advantage
- Having Bachelor degree of chemical will be big advantage
