Job Description

The Accountant Staff supports payment processing, bookkeeping, and financial documentation management in the system. This role requires a strong focus on manufacturing cost accounting, ensuring timely and strictly control of inventory, and accurate recording of production costs

Job Requirement

Accounts Payable and Receivable

  • Perform financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with internal controls and policies.
  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes
  • Process vendor invoices, ensure accuracy, and manage payment schedules.
  • Monitor accounts receivable balances, follow up on outstanding payments, and maintain customer records.
  • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve any discrepancies

Manufacturing Cost Accounting

  • Assist in tracking and recording production costs, including raw materials, labor, and overhead, ensuring accurate data entry.
  • Control inventory by conducting monthly inventory counts and reconciling physical stock counts with system records and addressing discrepancies
  • Work closely with supply chain and warehouse to monitor inventory levels, helping to ensure adequate supply for production while avoiding overstock.
  • Collaborate with production and supply chain teams to gather and validate data related to inventory and production costs.
  • Generate basic cost and inventory reports to support management in operational and financial planning.

General Accounting and Reporting

  • Record daily transactions, including journal entries and ledger maintenance.
  • Perform bank reconciliations and ensure the accuracy of financial records.
  • Support month-end and year-end closing processes, focusing on cost analysis and reporting.

 Job Requirements:

  1. Education/ Training Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or Tax or related field (required)
  2. Knowledge of: 
  • ERP experience (preferred)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.

  • English: communication level

Working hours: as per business needs. Typically, 8am-5pm Mon-Friday and 2 Sats per month.

Other special requirements (if any): 2 days/ week working at factory (Phu My 2 - BRVT province).
