Job Responsibility:
The Application Specialist develop, test, optimize and/or trouble shoot food and beverage formulations using innovative ingredients, technologies and/or product concepts.
Duties will include and not be limited to:
- Develop and refine food and beverage formulations to demonstrate ingredient functionality and performance.
- Evaluate and manage raw material evaluation and provide timely feedback to partner enabler/s (suppliers and distributors).
- Conduct laboratory and mini – UHT trials, ensuring accurate data collection and process documentation.
- Adapt and optimize recipes based on sensory evaluation, stability, and cost considerations.
- Support the development of prototypes for customer presentations, product launches, and internal projects.
- Perform basic laboratory test procedures including but not limited to physico – chemical and microbiological method.
- Participate in sensory evaluation sessions and provide technical feedback.
- Maintain detailed records of formulations, trial results, and performance data.
- Ensure adherence to food safety, quality, and regulatory standards in all application work.
- Support preparation of technical documentation, specifications, and prototype data sheets.
