Job Purpose
Manage all customs and compliance activities at the bonded warehouse, ensuring lawful, accurate, and timely customs operations while supporting efficient site operations.
Key Responsibilities
Manage bonded warehouse customs operations: import, export, transfer, liquidation, and customs finalization.
Work directly with Customs authorities; handle inspections, audits, and post-clearance checks.
Ensure full compliance with Customs Law, import–export tax regulations, and bonded warehouse requirements.
Control customs documentation: declarations, C/O, invoices, packing lists, norms, and required customs reports.
Coordinate with Operations, Warehouse, and Logistics teams to ensure smooth cargo flow.
Lead, coach, and develop the customs team.
Monitor regulatory changes; advise management on risks and process improvements.
Liaise with forwarders and customs brokers when required.
Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Import–Export, Customs, or related fields.
8–10 years of customs experience; 4–5 years in a managerial role at a bonded warehouse or manufacturing.
Strong knowledge of Customs Law, import–export tax, and bonded warehouse regulations.
Proven experience working directly with local Customs authorities.
Good command of English (reading, writing, working communication).
Strong leadership, problem-solving skills, and ability to work under pressure.
