Job Description

Job Summary

The Assistant Supply Chain Manager supports the Supply Chain Manager in coordinating, tracking, and reporting supply chain activities across Planning, Logistics, and Warehouse functions in an EPE plastic manufacturing environment.
The role focuses on follow-up, data consolidation, compliance support, and cross-functional coordination to ensure smooth operations, timely escalation of issues, and accurate reporting for management decisions.

Key Responsibilities

Planning & Production Support

  • Consolidate production plans, material requirements, and order fulfillment status.

  • Track production performance (Plan vs. Actual), capacity utilization, and backlog.

  • Coordinate with Production, Sales, Procurement, and Warehouse to ensure material availability and adjust plans when required.

Logistics Support

  • Monitor inbound materials and outbound shipments to ensure on-time delivery.

  • Support preparation of import-export and shipping documents.

  • Track logistics KPIs, costs, and follow up with forwarders and customs brokers to ensure EPE compliance.

Warehouse Coordination

  • Monitor inventory movements of raw materials, WIP, and finished goods.

  • Support stock reconciliation between ERP and physical inventory.

  • Follow up on cycle counts, stock takes, inventory accuracy, FIFO, and warehouse KPIs.

Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as a coordination point among Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, Procurement, Sales, and QA.

  • Follow up action items, escalate issues, and support resolution of operational bottlenecks.

Reporting & Data Analysis

  • Prepare supply chain reports and dashboards covering planning, logistics, inventory, and compliance.

  • Support MBR/QBR reporting, trend analysis, and process improvement recommendations.

EPE Compliance & Process Improvement

  • Support customs compliance, reconciliation reports, and audit preparation.

  • Assist in SOP updates, ERP improvements, and supply chain digitalization projects.

Working hours: 08:00 – 17:00.
Company shuttle bus is provided for the Binh Duong – Tay Ninh route.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
  • At least 3 years of working experience in an Export Processing Enterprise (EPE) manufacturing environment is required.
  • 2–4 years of practical experience in Planning, Logistics, Warehouse, or Supply Chain coordination roles.
  • Solid understanding of EPE customs regulations, inventory control principles, and logistics operations.
  • Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Power BI, VBA, and data management.
  • Experience with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP, Oracle, Epicor, or equivalent platforms is highly desirable.
  • Analytical mindset, detail-oriented, and ability to handle large volumes of data accurately.
  • Good English communication skills, both written and spoken, for internal and external coordination.
  • Proactive, hands-on, and able to work under tight deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • Familiarity with plastic manufacturing industry and working experience under Japanese management culture is an advantage.
  • Able to start immediately or with short notice is highly preferred.
