Assistant VE Engineer | Dau Giay (Shuttle bus: HCMC, Binh Duong, Dong Nai)

JOB SUMMARY
Reporting to supervisor / manager of Value Engineering, you will assist in driving projects to implement our value-based solution proposition. Generating creative and feasible ideas and collaborate with the different departments in achieving the productivity targets of the plants. And responsible for localization projects as well.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES AND AUTHORITIES
-Lead VE global & localization projects from design to mass production release.

-Coordinate with cross functional teams to organize project schedule & budget preparation.

-Lead brainstorming to generate continuous flow of VE ideas.

-Follow up competitive benchmarking and feasibility study.

-Communicate with suppliers to confirm component specification, target cost and lead-time.

-Performing dimensioning, tolerance calculations for linear dimensions.-Release 2D, 3D, assembly drawing, MSCD.

-Evaluate the new part according to the drawing, FAI & HSF and release SER.-Follow up reliability testing & safety approval with regulatory.

-Initiate ENG documentation like BOM, ECR/ECN/ECO.

-Follow up continuous product improvement actions.

-Assistant Engineer will take partial of above responsibilities based on project needs.

Education: University Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Production or other related Engineering discipline or equivalent.

Experience: Fresh graduate or max 2 years relevant experience in VE/NPD/NPI field. Experience working in outdoor products field is an advantage.

Knowledge:

- Product design & project management.

- Familiar on 2D and 3D CAD preferably with UG NX .

- Familiarwith application for safety approval such as UL.

Functional Skills: 

- Fluent in written and spoken English.

- Strong analytical skills.

- Good computer experience with Windows, Microsoft Office, email communication.

Other Abilities:

- Self-starter with demonstrated efficient work methods, analytical & problem-solving skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.

- Excellent Interpersonal Skills – able to express ideas and collaborate effectively with multiple teams.
