Job Description

The Automation Senior Staff is responsible for leading and supporting the Automation team to ensure all automation systems operate smoothly and efficiently. This role focuses on system maintenance, team coordination, reporting, training, and continuous improvement of automation projects while providing technical and management support to superiors and related departments.

1. Robot System Operation & Maintenance

  • Ensure all robot systems are maintained in good condition and continuously optimized
  • Develop and implement preventive maintenance plans for robot systems
  • Support the Automation Team in carrying out preventive maintenance activities
  • Assist with robot arm tool changes and teaching data setup
  • Ensure stable and efficient operation of automation equipment

2. Spare Parts & Tools Management

  • Organize and maintain the automation warehouse in a professional manner
  • Control spare parts inventory and monitor safety stock levels
  • Manage automation tools and ensure proper upkeep
  • Handle import and export of spare parts
  • Create and update drawings for robot cells and system modifications
  • Design and prepare drawings for new robot arm tools

3. Special Assignments & Cross-Department Support

  • Complete special tasks assigned by the Automation Lead on time and according to job requirements
  • Support the Production Department when necessary
  • Propose new ideas and improvement initiatives to the Automation Lead

4. Training & Knowledge Sharing

  • Provide training support to Team Leaders on robot operation
  • Arrange and support training programs for the Automation Team
  • Share best practices and technical knowledge to improve team capability

5. Project Control & Continuous Improvement

  • Ensure automation projects run smoothly and as planned
  • Continuously improve ongoing projects to enhance productivity and efficiency

6. Reporting

  • Prepare and submit daily and monthly reports
  • Provide accurate and timely updates to management on system status and project progress

* Working time: Monday - Friday: 8:00 - 16:30, Saturday: 8:00 - 12:00 & 1 Saturday off per month
* Shuttle bus provided from Ho Chi Minh (Hang Xanh - Thu Duc)/ Dong Nai (Bien Hoa) to Long Thanh Industrial Zone

Job Requirement

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

  • English proficiency at intermediate level
  • Basic knowledge of Automation systems, PLC, and HMI
  • Strong knowledge of electrical systems
  • Medium-level knowledge of mechanical systems
  • Strong management and leadership skills
  • Proficient in 2D and 3D design software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications

Education & Work Experience

  • College or university degree in Automation or Electrical Engineering
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in electrical systems
  • Experience working in manufacturing or construction companies is preferred
