BIM Coordinator

The BIM Coordinator will be responsible for coordinating Building Information Modeling processes across multidisciplinary project teams, ensuring seamless integration of architectural, structural, and MEP models throughout the project lifecycle. This role serves as the critical link between design teams, consultants, and construction teams to deliver clash-free, coordinated models that meet project requirements.

• Model Coordination & Management: Coordinate and federate BIM models across architectural, structural, and MEP disciplines; ensure model accuracy, consistency, and adherence to project standards and BIM Execution Plans (BEP).
• Clash Detection & Resolution: Perform clash detection using Navisworks Manage; identify, track, and resolve coordination issues across all disciplines; lead BIM coordination meetings.
• BIM Execution & Standards: Assist in developing and implementing project-specific BIM Execution Plans (BEP); establish and maintain BIM standards, workflows, and templates.
• Documentation & Deliverables: Generate 2D drawings, schedules, and quantity take-offs directly from BIM models for tender, construction, shop drawings, and as-built stages.
• Stakeholder Collaboration: Liaise with architects, engineers, contractors, consultants, and clients to support design reviews, constructability assessments, and data management.
• Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality checks and audits of BIM models to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with company and project standards.
• Training & Support: Provide technical support and guidance on BIM software and workflows to project team members.

1. Education:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Architecture, Civil/Structural Engineering, MEP Engineering, or a related field.

2. Experience:

• Experience in BIM modeling, coordination, or related roles in construction or engineering projects.
• Experience working on large-scale infrastructure, building, or industrial projects is preferred.
• Experience on complex, multi-disciplinary projects is highly desirable.

3. Technical Skills:

• Proficiency in Autodesk Revit (Architectural, Structural, and/or MEP modules) – required.
• Proficiency in Navisworks Manage for clash detection and coordination – required.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD – required.
• Familiarity with Civil 3D, Tekla Structures, or other discipline-specific software is an advantage.
• Knowledge of BIM 360 / Autodesk Construction Cloud or similar cloud-based collaboration platforms.
• Understanding of Level of Development (LOD) concepts.
• Knowledge of 4D/5D BIM, quantity take-offs, and model-based planning is an advantage.
• Familiarity with international BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650, BS/PAS 1192) is a plus.
