BOM ENGINEER

JOB PURPOSE

• Analyze production systems, identify constraints, and implement Lean solutions to optimize layout, manpower, material flow, capacity, and production costs.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Manage and develop BOM from R&D / New Product Development to Mass Production.
• Establish, review and maintain BOM, routing and manufacturing-related data.
• Work closely with R&D, Engineering, Production, Quality and Purchasing to ensure BOM accuracy and production readiness.
• Analyze manufacturing processes and identify opportunities for process optimization and productivity improvement.
• Conduct IE breakdown including manpower, cycle time, process flow, capacity and productivity.
• Support new product introduction, process development and production ramp-up.
• Identify process issues and provide practical improvement solutions based on data and process analysis.
• Participate in cost-related analysis and improvement activities where applicable.

Qualifications:

• Strong experience in Industrial Engineering / Manufacturing Engineering, preferably at Senior, Leader or Specialist level.
• Solid hands-on experience managing BOM from R&D / NPI stage through Mass Production.
• Strong understanding of manufacturing processes and good process logic.
• Excellent logical thinking and IE breakdown mindset.
• Able to analyze processes systematically and translate production requirements into practical IE solutions.
• Experience working cross-functionally with R&D, Engineering, Production, Quality and Purchasing teams.
• Experience in an FDI manufacturing environment is preferred. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and manufacturing costing processes is a strong advantage.
• Good English communication and documentation skills.
