The Brand Marketing Manager is responsible for building, developing, and managing the brand to ensure its image, messaging, and overall experience are aligned with the organization’s strategic direction. The role also focuses on developing a strong student and alumni community to enhance engagement, reputation, and the overall attractiveness of the brand.
Key Responsibilities:
Brand Building & Positioning
Develop and implement brand strategies in line with organizational goals.
Plan and execute integrated communication campaigns (online & offline) to strengthen brand awareness and reputation.
Ensure consistency in brand identity, messaging, and experience across all touchpoints and channels.
Community Development (Students & Alumni)
Design and implement engagement activities for current students: academic events, experiential activities, and skill/career development programs
Build and maintain an alumni network; organize activities that connect alumni with students and leverage alumni to support student development and brand growth.
Foster a strong community culture that increases pride, loyalty, and connection among students and alumni to the brand.
Stakeholder Collaboration
Work closely with deans/vice deans, internal departments, and external partners to roll out brand initiatives and programs.
Support recruitment, marketing, and communication activities in line with the brand strategy.
Act as a bridge between students, alumni, the school, and corporate partners to strengthen the brand’s position and value.
Team Leadership & Management
Lead, manage, and develop the Marcom and Student Experience teams.
Develop work plans, allocate resources, and oversee effective execution.
Ensure key performance indicators related to communications, branding, student experience, and community satisfaction are met.
Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Communications, or a related field.
At least 5 years of experience in Marketing/Brand Management; experience in education, services, or FMCG is a plus.
Proven experience in managing teams, budgets, and executing brand campaigns.
Skills & Competencies
Strong strategic brand building and brand management capability.
Solid project management skills and experience working cross-functionally.
Strong leadership skills with the ability to inspire, motivate, and develop team members.
Creative, community-oriented mindset (student & alumni-centric).
Proficiency in both English and Vietnamese (spoken and written).
