Cashew Color Sorting & Peeling Section Leader

• Lead and manage the Peeling and Color Sorting sections of the cashew processing line.
• Operate and supervise peeling machines, humidification chambers, and color sorting machines (Meyer or equivalent).
• Set, adjust, and optimize machine parameters to ensure high product quality, optimal yield, and productivity.
• Control moisture levels and peelability to achieve correct whole, broken, and reject ratios per customer standards.
• Supervise, allocate, and train production staff (8–10 operators).
• Coordinate closely with QC and Maintenance teams to minimize downtime and maintain stable operations.
• Monitor production performance and prepare daily production reports.
• Drive continuous improvement to improve yield, reduce rejects, and enhance machine efficiency.
• Ensure full compliance with HACCP, BRC, GMP, and HALAL food safety standards.

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Food Technology, Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
• 5–7 years of experience in the cashew processing industry, with strong exposure to peeling and color sorting operations.
• Solid knowledge of moisture conditioning, peelability control, and defect classification.
• Proven leadership and team supervision skills.
• Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving ability.
• Basic computer skills (Excel, reporting).
• Able to communicate effectively in English.

WORKING CONDITIONS

• Factory-based role with exposure to heat, dust, and noise.
• Overtime may be required during peak production periods.
