Job Description

JOB PURPOSE: 

  • To support the increasing demand for CMM programming activities driven by new product introductions, engineering changes, and business growth. The position is required to develop and optimize CMM programs, improve measurement efficiency, and ensure compliance with customer and quality requirements.J

JOB DESCRIPTION:

  • Develop, validate, and optimize CMM programs for dimensional inspection of parts, molds, jigs, and fixtures.
  • Review customer drawings, GD&T requirements, and measurement specifications to establish appropriate inspection methods.
  • Support new product launches, engineering changes, and customer-specific measurement requirements.
  • Analyze and verify dimensional inspection reports generated by CMM Technicians.
  • Manage and maintain dimensional inspection records, measurement reports, and traceability documentation.
  • Conduct Measurement System Analysis (MSA), including GR&R studies.
  • Plan and coordinate calibration activities for measuring equipment and maintain calibration records.
  • Manage and control QC tools, gauges, jigs, fixtures, and measurement-related assets.
  • Investigate measurement-related issues and provide technical solutions to production, engineering, and quality teams.
  • Support customer audits and internal quality improvement projects.
  • Provide technical guidance and training to CMM Technicians when required.

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Mechatronics, or related disciplines.
  • 3–5 years of experience in dimensional measurement and CMM programming within a manufacturing environment.
  • Strong hands-on experience with CMM programming software (e.g., PC-DMIS, Calypso, MCOSMOS, or equivalent).
  • Good understanding of engineering drawings, GD&T, dimensional inspection, and metrology principles.
  • Experience in MSA, GR&R, calibration systems, and quality management systems.
  • Ability to analyze measurement data and troubleshoot dimensional issues.
  • English: Accept reading document level
