Job Purpose
The Strategic Project Manager (Commercial Project Manager – Mom & Baby & Pharmacy Channel ) drives the growth and commercial performance of the company's mega distributor partnerships — Mom & Baby and across DTR’s private marketplace channels serving pharmacies and buyers. Reporting to management team, this role owns the end-to-end project lifecycle for distributor initiatives: from strategic planning and budget governance to execution, performance tracking, and risk management, ensuring these channels deliver sustainable revenue growth in line with the company's short- and long-term objectives.
Key Responsibilities
1. Strategic Channel Growth & Project Execution
- Drive growth strategy execution for mega distributors — Mom & Baby and DTR private marketplace channels, in alignment with the company's short-term and long-term commercial objectives.
- Independently lead key project milestones from planning through execution, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery across cross-functional workstreams.
- Communicate the company's expectations clearly to distributors regarding goals, roles, and responsibilities across relevant business areas.
- Propose strategic directions and provide analysis that supports decision-making for the management team.
- Support and facilitate product launches and related go-to-market initiatives across both marketplace channels.
2. Distributor & Channel Performance Management
- Monitor lead pipelines and develop accurate, realistic annual budget plans; track performance against budget on an ongoing basis.
- Evaluate distributor performance using clear metrics and KPIs; oversee DTR resource allocation to ensure revenue targets are met within the assigned territory/channel.
- Implement sales strategies and mechanics; enforce company pricing and sales policies effectively through distributors and their marketplace platforms.
- Ensure accuracy of rolling sales forecasts across a 3- to 6-month outlook.
- Optimize the distribution and marketplace network — including SKU listings and pharmacy/buyer activation — to improve product availability and market access.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key marketplace stakeholders (pharmacies, buyers) within the assigned channel.
3. Commercial Governance: Budget, P&L & Reporting
- Own and control the channel sales budget and trade spend, ensuring every investment delivers measurable ROI.
- Identify and implement cost-efficiency and productivity initiatives without compromising growth momentum.
- Analyze channel KPIs and translate data into clear performance narratives, insights, and actionable recommendations for senior management.
- Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and periodic distributor and business review reports in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Risk, Market Intelligence & Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Identify and manage risks, and resolve issues arising during distribution project implementation.
- Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights to monitor distribution and marketplace trends.
- Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Procurement to ensure smooth execution of channel initiatives.

- Promote a sense of teamwork and encourage collaboration among team members, emphasizing the value of collective effort in achieving goals.
