Job Description

Job Purpose

The Strategic Project Manager (Commercial Project Manager – Mom & Baby & Pharmacy Channel ) drives the growth and commercial performance of the company's mega distributor partnerships — Mom & Baby and across DTR’s private marketplace channels serving pharmacies and buyers. Reporting to management team, this role owns the end-to-end project lifecycle for distributor initiatives: from strategic planning and budget governance to execution, performance tracking, and risk management, ensuring these channels deliver sustainable revenue growth in line with the company's short- and long-term objectives.

Key Responsibilities

1. Strategic Channel Growth & Project Execution

  • Drive growth strategy execution for mega distributors — Mom & Baby and DTR private marketplace channels, in alignment with the company's short-term and long-term commercial objectives.
  • Independently lead key project milestones from planning through execution, ensuring on-time, on-budget delivery across cross-functional workstreams.
  • Communicate the company's expectations clearly to distributors regarding goals, roles, and responsibilities across relevant business areas.
  • Propose strategic directions and provide analysis that supports decision-making for the management team.
  • Support and facilitate product launches and related go-to-market initiatives across both marketplace channels.

2. Distributor & Channel Performance Management

  • Monitor lead pipelines and develop accurate, realistic annual budget plans; track performance against budget on an ongoing basis.
  • Evaluate distributor performance using clear metrics and KPIs; oversee DTR resource allocation to ensure revenue targets are met within the assigned territory/channel.
  • Implement sales strategies and mechanics; enforce company pricing and sales policies effectively through distributors and their marketplace platforms.
  • Ensure accuracy of rolling sales forecasts across a 3- to 6-month outlook.
  • Optimize the distribution and marketplace network — including SKU listings and pharmacy/buyer activation — to improve product availability and market access.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with distributors and key marketplace stakeholders (pharmacies, buyers) within the assigned channel.

3. Commercial Governance: Budget, P&L & Reporting

  • Own and control the channel sales budget and trade spend, ensuring every investment delivers measurable ROI.
  • Identify and implement cost-efficiency and productivity initiatives without compromising growth momentum.
  • Analyze channel KPIs and translate data into clear performance narratives, insights, and actionable recommendations for senior management.
  • Prepare and deliver weekly, monthly, and periodic distributor and business review reports in a timely and efficient manner.

4. Risk, Market Intelligence & Cross-Functional Collaboration

  • Identify and manage risks, and resolve issues arising during distribution project implementation.
  • Conduct market research and analyze consumer insights to monitor distribution and marketplace trends.
  • Collaborate effectively with Marketing, Supply Chain, Finance, and Procurement to ensure smooth execution of channel initiatives.

5. Team Collaboration & Culture

  • Promote a sense of teamwork and encourage collaboration among team members, emphasizing the value of collective effort in achieving goals.
  • Encourage open and honest communication within the team, creating an environment where members feel comfortable sharing ideas, concerns, and feedback.
  • Identify individual strengths, weaknesses, and personal aspirations to support development within the team.

Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)

  • Revenue growth vs. target across Mom & Baby and marketplace channels
  • Rolling sales forecast accuracy (3–6 month outlook)
  • Budget adherence and trade spend ROI
  • Marketplace SKU listing coverage and pharmacy/buyer activation rate
  • On-time delivery of key project milestones
  • Pricing and sales policy compliance rate across distributors

Job Requirement

  • Bachelor's degree in Economics, Trade, Marketing, or a related field.
