Key Responsibilities
- Develop creative ideas and concepts for Reels and other short-form video formats.
- Plan and shoot content featuring food, restaurant ambience, staff, promotions, events, and behind-the-scenes moments.
- Edit short-form videos using CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or other relevant editing software.
- Create strong opening hooks and maintain engaging pacing throughout each video.
- Add suitable music, sound effects, transitions, subtitles, and basic motion graphics.
- Apply brand identity consistently through visual style, colors, fonts, tone, and overall presentation.
- Ensure that text, subtitles, and key visual elements remain within each platform’s safe zones.
- Apply a good sense of lighting, framing, composition, camera angles, and movement during shoots.
- Adapt social media trends creatively to suit the brand while maintaining its identity.
- Stay updated on social media trends, platform algorithms, new features, content formats, and short-form video best practices.
- Coordinate with the Marketing and Restaurant teams to arrange shooting schedules, locations, dishes, staff participation, and other necessary preparations.
- Organize raw footage, project files, and final video assets clearly and systematically.
- Manage assigned projects and deliver content according to the agreed timeline.
- Review content performance and apply key insights to improve future videos.
- React to change productively and handle other essential tasks as assigned.
Job Requirements
- Bachelor's degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Multimedia, Film Production, Design, or a related field.
- Basic professional experience or a strong portfolio in short-form video creation.
- Good shooting and video-editing skills.
- Must have good English communication skills.
- Good understanding of Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook, including their content formats, safe zones, audience behaviour, trends, and algorithms.
- Understanding of social media hooks, video pacing, viewer retention, and short-form storytelling.
- Strong visual sense, particularly in composition, lighting, framing, color, and overall aesthetics.
- Creative and able to translate ideas into engaging video content.
- Able to follow brand guidelines and apply them consistently across video content.
- Comfortable shooting food, people, and restaurant environments.
- Able to work independently while coordinating effectively with the Marketing and Restaurant teams.
- Well-organized, detail-oriented, and demonstrates a strong sense of ownership.
- Able to manage multiple content assignments in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in at least one video-editing tool, such as CapCut, Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, or equivalent.
- Good knowledge of cameras or smartphones used for professional social media content production.
- Familiarity with basic shooting equipment, such as lighting, microphones, tripods, and stabilizers.
- Familiarity with Canva or other basic creative tools is a plus.
- Previous experience in the Food & Beverage or hospitality industry is a plus.
