Cost Accountant

Job Description

1. Calculating production costs

· Review BOM and calculate labor and overhead rates and propose adjustments as

needed to reflect “true” product cost/profitability.

· Prepare product costing sheet and profitability analysis

2. Review and analyze standard and actual costs for variances and prepare reports

3. Update standard costs in U9 System and ensure accuracy in the BOM’s

4. Prepare, analyze and report monthly Gross margin analysis by customer, product / part number and production jobs

5. Preparation for account reconciliation of physical inventories and cycle counts by month end and analyzing inventory for risk and monitoring inventory aging.

6. Asist Chief Accountant on Month End Closing.

7. Work on special projects as required

Job Requirement

JOB REQUIREMENT

· Bachelor’s degree in accounting & finance

· At least 2- 3 years experience in manufacturing operations, inventory and cost accounting.

· Good command of English.

· Proficiency in advance Excel and U9 accounting system is a plus
