Data Scientist (Tuyển mở rộng)

About the Role

We are looking for a Data Scientist who enjoys working with real business data and turning it into meaningful insights.

In this role, you will work closely with IT, business, and operations teams to analyze data, build models, and create dashboards that actually help people make better decisions.

This position is ideal for someone who likes solving practical problems, not just building models for academic purposes.

What You Will Do

• Work with data from multiple sources (SQL Server, Oracle, BigQuery, Excel, CSV).
• Clean, prepare, and analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, root causes, and potential risks.
• Build and improve machine learning models (forecasting, classification, regression, clustering) based on real business needs.
• Validate and monitor model performance using suitable metrics.
• Visualize and communicate insights in a simple, business-friendly way:
• Build dashboards and reports in Metabase
• Create clear charts, KPI views, drill-down analysis, and executive summaries
• Tell the “story behind the data” so non-technical users can understand and act on it
• Work directly with teams (QC, Finance, Operations, Sales, etc.) to understand their questions and translate them into data solutions.
• Support POC (Proof of Concept) initiatives for AI/ML before scaling to production.
• Document methodology, assumptions, and results so the work is reusable and transparent.

What We’re Looking For

• A Bachelor’s degree or higher in Data Science, Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Solid experience with Python (Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn).
• Good working knowledge of SQL (SQL Server, Oracle, or BigQuery).
• A strong understanding of statistics and machine learning fundamentals.
• Hands-on experience building dashboards or reports, especially using Metabase.
• Experience working with real business data (not only academic or training datasets).

Nice to Have

• Experience with Google BigQuery, GCP, or cloud-based data platforms.
• Familiarity with DBT or other data transformation tools.
• Background in Retail, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Quality Control, or Finance.
• Experience deploying machine learning models into production or business workflows.
• Have worked as a Data Scientist continuously for 2 years or more at a company. Have long-term career orientation.
