Demand Planner

The Demand Planner is responsible for all forecasting activities related to customers and products, supporting the development of demand forecasts across multiple time horizons as part of the long-term demand strategy.

The role plays an integral part in driving forecast accuracy improvement initiatives and is a key member of the S&OP process, including leading demand review meetings. The position requires close collaboration with Supply Chain, Marketing, Sales, Trade, and Finance to achieve overall business objectives.

• Oversee demand planning and forecasting processes for both new and existing products.
• Coordinate the monthly forecasting cycle by gathering, validating, and analyzing data to improve forecast accuracy.
• Liaise with Product Management and Supply teams to support integrated business planning and day-to-day operations.
• Actively participate in sales planning through demand review within the S&OP process.
• Monitor actual performance against forecasts and take appropriate actions or provide recommendations.
• Anticipate, identify, and communicate key issues and decisions during demand planning discussions.
• Manage exceptions and abnormal demand fluctuations effectively.
• Organize and facilitate monthly forecast meetings with relevant stakeholders as part of the S&OP process.
• Support the line manager in managing and improving the S&OP process.

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Finance, Economics, or a related field.  
• At least 7-10 years of experience in relevant demand planning, S&OP, financial planning, pricing roles.
• Strong data analysis capability with the ability to interpret and validate information.
• Knowledge of statistical and forecasting methods.
• Basic understanding of Sales and Marketing.
• Understanding of financial impact related to forecasting decisions.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
