Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Demand Planner to manage demand planning and demand management activities for MPY in South Asia. The role requires close collaboration with the commercial team, ensuring seamless execution of the Integrated Business Planning (IBP) process while driving initiatives to enhance forecast accuracy and operational efficiency.

• Forecast Compilation & Management: Consolidate and manage demand forecasts for South Asia MPY, ensuring accurate and timely updates.

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Work closely with the commercial team to update forecasts and communicate key insights with the supply team.

• Supply Planning Coordination: Maintain a "bow tie" relationship with the supply planning team, ensuring a smooth flow of accurate demand data to all relevant stakeholders.

• SLOB Reduction & Prevention: Actively drive initiatives to reduce and prevent slow-moving and obsolete inventory (SLOB).

• IBP Process Execution: Support and enhance the IBP process, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives.

• KPI Management: Monitor and improve demand planning KPIs, including forecast bias and forecast accuracy.

Job Requirement

• Minimum 3-5 years working experience in Demand Planning /Demand Management/Integrated Supply Chain Analytical, can work independently, excellent communication skills & inter-personal skills.

• Business acumen, understand requirements from internal and external customer and acts upon these Stakeholder management; able to manage stakeholders in various functions and levels of the organization.

• Coordinating skills; Prioritize and coordinate different requirements to ensure customer satisfaction and solid end to end delivery.

• Communication skills; understands and speaks language of internal and external stakeholders. Language requirements: local language and excellent English skills.

• System skills: Familiar with ERP systems - SAP, DART, Excel, Power BI, MS PowerPoint. APICS Certified would be a plus.

• Education Level: Minimum Bachelor Degree.

• May be a requirement for travel to Malaysia or Singapore as part of the onboarding process. The role will also provide remote support across the region, including ANZ.
