A. Demand Forecasting & Analysis
- Collect, consolidate, and validate Sales Forecasts from Sales, Marketing, and Key Account teams on a weekly and monthly basis.
- Analyze historical sales trends, seasonality, promotions, and market factors to build accurate demand forecasts.
- Develop forecasting models using Excel (pivot tables, functions, dashboards) and support system-based forecasting tools.
- Monitor forecast accuracy, identify root causes of variances, and propose improvement actions.
- Prepare rolling demand plans and ensure alignment with commercial targets and supply capabilities.
B. Sales Forecast Coordination
- Maintain strong communication with the Sales team to understand demand drivers, risks, and upside opportunities.
- Facilitate monthly Demand Review meetings as part of the S&OP/IBP cycle.
- Ensure all forecast submissions are complete, timely, and aligned with business guidelines.
C. Order Management
- Work closely with Customer Service, Logistics, and Warehouse teams to ensure on-time and in-full delivery.
- Monitor inventory availability and coordinate replenishment needs based on forecast and orders.
- Resolve order-related issues and escalate potential risks to ensure smooth supply to customers.
D. Reporting & Data Management
- Build and maintain demand planning reports, dashboards, and KPI tracking (Forecast Accuracy, Bias, OTIF).
- Ensure data integrity and consistency across systems and planning files.
- Provide monthly demand insights, risks/opportunities, and scenario analysis to support decision-making.
E. Cross-functional Collaboration
- Work with Procurement & Supply Planning teams to align supply with demand.
- Collaborate with Marketing for new product launches, promotions, and discontinuation plans.
- Support process improvement projects to enhance forecasting, planning, and order management efficiency.
