Job Description

Ensure accurate demand forecasting and optimal stock availability across stores by managing centralized ordering, tracking key indicators, and coordinating with cross-functional stakeholders. Guarantee the right product reaches the right store at the right time — optimizing stock rotation, service level, and inventory costs.

1. Demand Forecasting & Planning

  • Develop and maintain demand forecasting models using historical sales data, market trends, promotions, and seasonality.
  • Lead monthly forecasting cycles and contribute to S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes.
  • Monitor forecast accuracy and proactively take corrective actions in case of deviations.
  • Provide forecasting input to support category planning, promotions, and new launches.

2. Centralized Ordering & Replenishment

  • Execute centralized ordering according to approved replenishment plans, tailored to each store’s profile and sales pattern.
  • Monitor top SKUs and stock status to adjust order quantities and minimize Out-of-Stock (OOS) risks.
  • Manage promotional stock efficiently, coordinating closely with Merchandising and VM and stores.
  • Handle exceptional purchase orders and resolve system issues, parameter mismatches, or abnormal order flows.

3. Inventory Monitoring & Supplier Follow-up

  • Track and analyze key inventory KPIs: DOH, service level, detention rate, negative stock, slow-moving stock.
  • Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery issues such as incorrect quantities, missed shipments, or invoice issues.
  • Follow up on stock aging and define action plans to reduce slow-moving or excess inventory.
  • Support inventory optimization initiatives to balance availability and cost efficiency.

4. Cross-functional Coordination

  • Align closely with Merchandising, Commercial, and Store Operations teams on replenishment strategy and execution.
  • Coordinate stock flow with other teams to ensure timely and complete deliveries to stores.
  • Act as the key point of contact for Category Heads and store on availability and stock-related issues.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation, and data accuracy within demand planning and replenishment.
