To support our rapid global expansion, we are seeking a dynamic and results-driven Candidates to join our growing commercial team.

OBJECTIVE

The Deputy International Business Development Manager is responsible for leading and driving the overall performance of the international business function, including market development, sales growth, and distributor expansion.

This role holds accountability for achieving department-level KPIs, ensuring both strategic market expansion and consistent revenue delivery. The position plays a key role in aligning business development initiatives with sales execution, building scalable international markets, and delivering sustainable commercial growth.

ACCOUNTABILITY

  1. Market Development & Expansion
  • Identify and develop new international markets aligned with company growth strategy.
  • Build and execute go-to-market plans with clear revenue targets.
  • Monitor and accelerate market penetration from entry to revenue generation.
  1. Revenue & Sales Performance Management
  • Take ownership of total department revenue, volume, and margin targets.
  • Drive sales performance across all assigned markets and product categories.
  • Monitor and optimize profitability through pricing and product mix strategies.
  1. Distributor & Channel Development
  • Identify, appoint, and develop international distributors and partners.
  • Set performance targets and monitor distributor sales execution.
  • Expand distribution coverage across channels (retail, modern trade, private label).
  1. Key Account Management
  • Develop and manage strategic international accounts.
  • Lead commercial negotiations and establish long-term agreements.
  • Drive account growth through repeat orders and portfolio expansion.
  1. Team Leadership & Performance Management
  • Set KPIs and manage performance of the international business team.
  • Coach, develop, and build capabilities of team members.
  • Monitor pipeline, forecast accuracy, and conversion performance.
  1. Business Execution & Cash Flow Control
  • Oversee end-to-end business execution from order confirmation to delivery.
  • Ensure timely shipment, customer satisfaction, and issue resolution.
  • Monitor payment collection and control commercial risks (DSO, bad debt).

  • Strong business development capability: market entry strategy, partner acquisition, and channel development.
  • Proven ability in team leadership and performance management, including KPI setting, coaching, and pipeline management.
  • Solid skills in contract management, commercial risk handling, and dispute resolution.
  • Excellent English communication skills (verbal and written) for international negotiations and executive-level discussions.
  • Proficient in ERP systems for sales operations, reporting, and data-driven decision-making.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills with Supply Chain, R&D, QA/QC, and Finance.
3. Knowledge (Industry & Business Knowledge)
  • In-depth understanding of international trade practices, including Incoterms, export documentation, and global logistics flows.
  • Strong knowledge of international payment methods (T/T, L/C) and associated financial and operational risks.
  • Solid understanding of global FMCG/food markets, including distribution models, consumer trends, and product positioning.
  • Knowledge of channel development strategies (distributors, modern trade, private label/OEM).
  • Awareness of trade compliance, regulatory requirements, and food safety standards in international markets.
  • Understanding of pricing strategy, margin management, and commercial profitability.
  • Familiarity with product development cycles and product-market fit in FMCG is a strong advantage.
4. Experience (Commercial & Leadership Experience)
  • Minimum 6–8 years of experience in international business, export sales, or business development within FMCG/food or agricultural sectors.
  • At least 2–3 years in a leadership or supervisory role, managing teams or key markets.
  • Proven track record of developing new international markets and delivering measurable revenue growth.
  • Strong experience working with global distributors, importers, and retail partners, including contract negotiation and account development.
  • Experience in multi-product FMCG environments (e.g., noodles, beverages, snacks, packaged foods) is highly preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end export business cycles, from market entry to order execution and payment collection.
