Work Location: VSIP I (Ho Chi Minh)

BASIC FUNCTION OF THE JOB:

- Understand and apply EHS requirements, including ISO 45001, ISO 14001, 6S, legal requirements, global requirements, and customer requirements across the factory and related activities.

- Understand and apply EHS principles, theories, concepts, techniques, and standards.

- Continuously review and update risk assessments across the company.

- Conduct EHS audits throughout the company and support improvement initiatives.

- Manage hazardous materials and perform related risk evaluations.

- Support the preparation and delivery of EHS training programs to enhance EHS awareness.

- Maintain, implement, and continuously improve EHS procedures and standards in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies.

1. Planning and implementing the EHS Program

- Responsible for implementing and administering all EHS programs, ISO 14001, ISO 45001 requirements, policies, and procedures in line with corporate compliance and all provincial, state, and local statutory requirements.

- Conduct EHS audits/reviews, recommend and oversee corrective/preventive measures to improve safety and environmental standards.

- Responsible for EHS permit-to-work procedures and contractor management based on EHS procedures.

- Responsible for managing EHS issues, near misses, incidents, and accidents to ensure corrective and preventive actions are implemented.

- Responsible for EHS data reporting at the site.

- Respond with actions to achieve EHS KPIs.

- Continuously review risk assessments across the company.

- Support and perform local EHS performance reviews, identify trends, and initiate and participate in problem-solving activities.

- Coordinate with respective departments to suggest EHS improvement programs.

2. Regulatory Compliance

- Ensure the effectiveness of all EHS licenses at the VSIP site.

- Ensure all plant operations, policies, and practices comply with internal and external safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.

- Update and assess compliance with all EHS legal requirements and implement activities based on government documentary requirements.

- Define timelines and action plans for items required to meet legal requirements.

- Ensure all EHS program documentation is complete and up to date, and that required audits are conducted and properly documented.

- Ensure the effectiveness of all EHS licenses at the VSIP site.

- Ensure all plant operations, policies, and practices comply with internal and external safety, health, and environmental regulations and standards.

- Update and assess compliance with all EHS legal requirements and implement activities based on government documentary requirements.

Job Requirement

Educational Background: University graduate with major in EHS or related specializations

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of related experience in EHS operations, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, ISO 45001

Special skills:

- Intermediate English proficiency.

- Certified Safety Group 2.

- Certified Train-the-Trainer (EHS).

- Skilled in risk assessment, training, root cause analysis, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and Safety Observation.

- Strong knowledge of EHS programs, including fall protection, electrical safety, chemical safety, fire protection, LOTO (Lockout/Tagout), and 5S.
