Engineering Manager

We are looking for an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our digital platform engineering team, responsible for our e-commerce web and app platforms and integrations with marketplaces, logistics providers, and partners. This role will oversee the development of seamless, scalable integrations while ensuring our core platforms remain reliable and performant.

Key Responsibilities

• Team Management: Lead and mentor a team of ~10 engineers (backend, frontend, mobile) and collaborate with product owners to align technical execution with business goals.
• Technical Leadership: Oversee the architecture, development and integration of our e-commerce ecosystem, covering:
• Web & App (Next.js, React Native, Golang backend)
• Marketplaces (e.g., Grab Mart, Shopee …)
• 3rd-party logistics (e.g., AhaMove, GiaoHangNhanh…)
• External partners integration (Healthcare systems, HIS systems)
• Internal system integration: ERP, BI reporting, OMS, WMS…
• Development & Delivery: Own the engineering roadmap, manage sprints, and ensure timely delivery of high-quality software and integrations.
• Operational Support & Reliability: Ensure the platform runs smoothly by implementing monitoring, incident response, and continuous improvement processes.
• Integration & API Development: Drive the development of robust, scalable APIs for partner integrations, ensuring performance, security, and uptime.
• Scalability & Performance: Ensure our architecture supports high-traffic transactions, order synchronization, and real-time data exchange.
• Collaboration: Work closely with product, business, and external partners to design and implement integration strategies that enhance efficiency and user experience.
• Hiring & Growth: Recruit, onboard, and grow engineering talent within the team to support business expansion.

• 8+ years of experience in software development, with at least 3+ years in a leadership role managing engineering teams to work on fully SDCL with combination of Lean, Agile & Design Thinking experience.
• Strong background in system architecture & backend development with Golang and experience with React Native (mobile) and Next.js (web).
• Experience designing and managing API-driven integrations with the ecommerce domain, marketplaces, logistics providers, and enterprise systems (HIS, OMS, ERP, etc.).
• Solid understanding of microservices, cloud infrastructure, event-driven architecture (Kafka/Pulsar/WebSockets), and DevOps practices.
• Deep understanding of SDLC, with a strong focus on operational support, monitoring, and incident resolution.
• Excellent leadership and team-building skills, with the ability to foster a culture of ownership, continuous learning, and innovation.
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to bridge the gap between technical and business stakeholders.

Nice to Have

• Experience with CI/CD, Kubernetes, or cloud platforms (AWS/Azure).
• Knowledge of message queues (Kafka, RabbitMQ) and real-time data streaming.
• Prior experience supporting high-availability, high-traffic systems in e-commerce, logistics, or healthcare.
