Background
The Executive Assistant cum Korean Interpreter serves as the CEO's trusted business partner, providing high-quality Korean Vietnamese interpretation, translation, executive administrative support, and coordination between the CEO and internal/external stakeholders. This role plays a critical part in ensuring smooth communication, efficient execution of business priorities, and effective operation of the CEO Office
Job Responsibilities
1. Korean Interpretation & Translation (40%)
• Provide accurate Korean ↔ Vietnamese interpretation during meetings, discussions, conferences, business trips, and company events.
• Ensure all translated materials maintain accuracy, confidentiality, and professional terminology.
• Support communication between Korean management and Vietnamese employees.
2. Executive Assistant Support (35%)
• Manage the CEO's calendar, appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements.
• Coordinate domestic and overseas business trips, including flight bookings, accommodation, transportation, visa arrangements, and travel itineraries.
• Prepare meeting agendas, presentation materials, reports, and briefing documents.
• Attend meetings, record minutes, monitor action items, and follow up with relevant departments.
• Screen incoming correspondence and prioritize issues requiring CEO attention.
• Handle confidential documents with the highest level of discretion.
3. Business Coordination (15%)
• Act as the communication bridge between the CEO and all departments.
• Coordinate cross-functional projects assigned by the CEO.
• Track project progress and ensure timely completion of assigned tasks.
• Follow up on company-wide initiatives and executive decisions.
4. Administrative & Office Support (10%)
• Organize and maintain CEO files and confidential records.
• Coordinate meetings with external partners, government authorities, customers, and headquarters.
• Support reception of Korean visitors and overseas delegations.
• Perform other duties assigned by the CEO.
Requirements
• Advanced Korean proficiency (TOPIK Level 6)
• Native-level Vietnamese
• Minimum 3 years of Korean interpretation/translation experience and secretary to Korean Executives. Experience working in Korean companies is highly preferred
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
• TOPIK Level 6 or other Korean language certification
• Interpretation or management planning experience at a Korean-invested company (manufacturing, services, etc.)
• Willingness to travel domestically or overseas with the CEO when required
• Study or residency experience in Korea
