Job Description

Department: Supply Chain / Logistics 

Reports to: International Sales Director 

Location: A.006 D9 Street, Sala, An Khanh, Ho Chi Minh City 

Working hours: 9:00 – 17:00 + flexible depending on shipment progress

Job Objective 

Responsible for managing all logistics operations for rubber export shipments and imported raw materials, ensuring: 

• On-time shipment  

• Accurate documentation with minimal errors  

• Control and optimization of logistics costs  

• Effective handling of arising issues 

Key Responsibilities 

A. Export Operations 

Coordinate the entire export process: 

→ booking → stuffing → transportation → documentation → delivery 

Work with: 

• Shipping lines / Forwarders  

• Factories / warehouses  

• Customers (related to logistics & documentation)  

• Banks (related to L/C, D/P, D/A payments…)  

Prepare & check documentation: 

• Invoice, Packing List  

• Bill of Lading (B/L)  

• Certificate of Origin (CO) and other related documents  

Monitor & control shipment timeline: 

• Handle shipment issues such as:  

o Vessel delays  

o Container roll-over  

o B/L amendments  

o Documentation disputes  

B. Import Operations 

Handle import procedures: 

• Check compliance (MSDS, COA…) and import documents  

• Track cargo arrival schedule  

• Coordinate with factory to ensure materials arrive as planned  

C. Cost Control & Logistics Optimization 

• Work with and compare quotations from forwarders / shipping lines  

• Control additional costs:  

o Demurrage / Detention  

o Storage  

o Amendment fees  

• Propose cost optimization solutions and shipping routes  

Job Requirement

Experience 

• 5–7 years of experience in handling Export Documentation  

• Preferred industries: Agriculture / Rubber / Commodities  

• Experience working with international markets such as the US, Europe, Russia, India, and other Asian countries  

Technical Skills 

• Strong knowledge of:  

o Incoterms  

o Export-import procedures  

o International trade documentation  

• Experience handling shipment issues and documentation discrepancies  

Soft Skills 

• Calm under pressure  

• Quick and accurate problem-solving  

• Proactive with high sense of responsibility  

• Willing to work overtime depending on shipment schedule  

Language 

• Good English (especially for business email communication)
