Job Description

1. Project Finance

- Build and maintain the screening criteria used to assess renewable energy projects, and apply them to filter the pipeline for technical, commercial and bankability fit

- Build project financial models and valuation models, covering generation profiles, tariff mechanisms, investment & operating costs, and debt service

- Support the structuring of the capital stack and run scenario and sensitivity analysis to recommend optimal financial structures

- Support preparing teasers, information memoranda and data rooms, and manage the Q&A process with banks, funds and other financiers through to financial close

2. Commercial Solution Design

- Design electricity tariff structures and savings calculation for corporate offtakers accounting for different variables about regulatory and commercial trends.

- Build commercial proposals and support the drafting of commercial and financial terms in term sheets and contracts with prospective clients.

- Support the preparation of financial information and analysis for client discussions and commercial negotiations.

Job Requirement

- Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Banking, Economics, Investment, Accounting or other Analytical major.

- Having 1 – 2 years of relevant experience in  financial analysis, project finance, investment banking, corporate finance or transaction advisory, valuation with demonstrated financial modeling capability.

- Sound knowledge of finance and accounting principles, project finance mechanics and valuation methodologies.

- Experience in Big4, investment funds, private credit firms, or M&A advisory firms and/ or exposure to renewable energy / infrastructure transactions, is a strong plus.

- Familiarity with Vietnam’s power sector and the DPPA/PPA regulatory framework is an advantage.

- Strong analytical and numerical skills, with high attention to detail and data accuracy.

- Willingness to learn continuously and to adapt to a fast-moving regulatory and market environment.

- Strong financial modeling skills, with a strong understanding of modelling drivers and techniques

- Business acumen — able to understand and analyze the benefits and costs of the clients, and recommend commercial strategies backed by financial information

-  Proactive, curious and able to work independently while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

-  Advanced MS Excel and Powerpoint required; Experience in Power Query, Power BI, leveraging AI tools is a plus

- Proficient in English both in speaking and writing, with the ability to prepare financial materials and communicate with international stakeholders.
